About the Project

AI-DedICate (Human-Centric Artificial Intelligence for Diversity, Inclusion and eCollaboration) is a European Erasmus+ project that focuses on the opportunities and challenges of digital transformation in school education.

Through strong cooperation among universities, primary and secondary schools, educational organisations, and technology developers across Europe, AI-DedICate develops innovative, scalable, and transferable educational solutions that respond to real classroom needs.

Project Overview

This project addresses the urgent need to integrate Human-Centred Artificial Intelligence (AI) into education in an ethical, inclusive, and effective way. It focuses on equipping teachers and students with the skills, tools, and methodologies needed to use AI responsibly, while fostering collaboration, critical thinking, and digital literacy. The project also ensures equitable access to emerging technologies in education.

Innovation & Approach

By combining AI-driven learning tools, gamification, and online intercultural activities, the project develops scalable pedagogical frameworks that promote diversity, inclusion, and personalised learning. It also delivers evidence-based recommendations for ethical AI integration and supports policy development at local, national, and EU levels, while strengthening collaboration across European education networks.

Project Aims

The project aims to support in-service teachers, pre-service teachers, pupils, and parents in the ethical, responsible, and inclusive use of Artificial Intelligence and educational technologies. It promotes a human-centred approach to AI, ensuring that technology enhances learning, inclusion, and collaboration rather than reinforcing existing inequalities.
